ABOUT BRIAN
Brian mixes his passion for drawing with his love for movies and nostalgia. He uses pencil, colored pencils, acrylic paints, watercolors and paint markers to create movie artwork of his favorite random, nostalgic movie scenes, normally from cult classic and/or guilty pleasure movies and then offers them in the form of fine art prints (awesome wall art for home theaters!) and unique coffee mugs (cool gifts for movie lovers). He currently lives in Rochester, WI with his smokin' hot wife and three awesome kiddos. Besides drawing and watching movies, Brian also loves eating breakfast food and being nice.

Large-scale Gallery Edition Prints (7.5"x18" and 15"x36") are museum-quality, signed reproductions of original movie art printed on 100% cotton, fine art paper with archival ink. The size listed is the size of the image, the paper has a blank 1" border around the image.

Framed Gallery Edition Prints are framed in a 1.25" wood frame with a 2" black mat around the image. AND... are hand embellished, additional paint and pencil are added, to make them one-of-a-kind!

WHY MOVIES?
I have always loved movies. The movie theater has always been a magical place to me. My first job was at a movie theater. When I was younger, I would wear out certain VHS tapes, watching movies I loved over and over... Teen Wolf, Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, Die Hard, Indiana Jones, etc.
In many ways, movies help to identify us. Certain scenes, quotes, and actors speak to who we are and connect us with others. Some people can connect with others over sports, hunting, etc. I connect with people the most because of movies. They’re nostalgic and personal. That’s why giving a gift with the perfect scene or actor on it is so thoughtful... even if it's for yourself!
Movies have the power to let you escape, and just like going to the movies, my art is a way for me to escape burdens of everyday life and lets me connect with people who share the same affection for movies as I do.
With a mix of pencil, watercolors, colored pencils, acrylic paint, and markers, I take movie scenes that I have connected with and try to capture moments of performance on paper so the viewer can remember the movie, the moment, who they shared it with, and get involved with the nostalgia that makes movies so great.
